We Have No Words For This (update 2)

This is too much:

This guy needs to be arrested. Just. Take. Him. Away.

Update: OK we do have a few words for this, and none of them are kind. So this cementhead throws a frog into the boiling water and is then surprised it didn't hop out to make his point. What did he expect? That the frog would sprout wings and fly out? Look at the size of that pan he's got on his desk. How, exactly did he expect the frog to hop when it had nothing to hop from?

There probably are people more stupid than Glenn Beck in the world. We just haven't found them yet.

It doesn't surprise us that Beck can't understand that metaphors are, uh, metaphorical and not literal, something children are able to do around the age of two, and humans have been doing since the middle stone age. What does surprise us is there wasn't anyone at Fox studios who was the designated adult and could say killing an innocent creature to make a stupid point that isn't true anyway except in the fever swamp of your mind is probably not a good use of air time.

But then, it's Fox. What is a good use of their air time? Who knows? But let's give them more of it to fill.

Son of Update: OK, now Beck is saying it was a fake frog. We're not buying it. Look at him react when the frog doesn't jump out. He seems genuinely surprised as only someone truly, completely, irredeemably moronic could be. Also, if the point of the exercise was to show a frog jumping out of boiling water to illustrate his point, someone as thick as Beck should have have been told that a fake frog wasn't jumping out of anything.

Of course there's always the possibility that Beck didn't understand the metaphor in the first place and just felt like killing a frog because he was bored with pulling the wings off of butterflies.

I wonder if he can be jailed for inciting cruelty.
He looked very pleased going through the motions and you got to wonder either he likes it or he is truly insane.
Of course, he could be Un-American as well in which case, time to deport him anywhere, and preferably with Palin.

It would be nice if he did that to Palin.

It would be nice if he did it to himself. (and Palin)

Um, you put the frog into room temp water and turn it up slowly. And usually the metaphore states that the frog doesnt notice and doesn't leap out.

Because it doesn't notice the slow rise in temp and by the time it does, its already partially cooked and well on the way to dying.

For Example: Once a few years ago, a tree frog came into my house. It was on the window above the kitchen sink. I noticed it while washing dishes in very hot water.

My good intentions were to catch the frog and put it back outside. In the attempt to capture it, it leaped into the scalding hot water and died instantly.

As in Tango Uniform.

Glenn Beck is an ass. A simple phone call to a Herpetologist would have avoided this idiot snafu on Beck's part.

But then that is the act of a real journalist---Doing Actual Research to discern the facts and considering the consequences of certain acts, potential outcomes and all that.

Glenn Beck is for Entertainmnet Purposes only. {and I use the E-word loosely}.

"....bored with pulling wings off of butterflies"....or, like all the Tomblin Clan and associates of West Virginia, he uses live bait for his own "kiddies".

We smelled a fake. The camera angle was all wrong for an actual frog snuff film. Here's the Beckian analysis, which, if true, is even more disturbing. His point being, I guess, that you can't believe anything the media, especially Glenn Beck, says or that we're all done for anyway and there's no where to jump. Good one Glenn, you douchebag.

And for his next trick!

Glenn Beck Dances with the Stars on Baby Ducklings Wearing Golf Cleates!

Oh for heaven's sake! You should have all known what he was going to do. He had on another "clown tie" to warn you!

Oh I get it! The Clown Tie is some kind of secret message, like Fred's Swingers Ascot on Scoobie Doo!

Personally I always thought clowns were fucked up. Glenn Beck's Clown Tie sort of confirms my worst suspicions.

Hell...if you only had "suspicions" about Beck, you need a BIG vacation, Lady! :)
