Friday Hound Blogging

You know, we're not big believers in Astrology, mostly because we never did meet that dark, mysterious, exotic love goddess as prophesied by our horoscope back in 1982, even though we hit just about every bar in the city and did make several...erm...new friends at our own personal expense we might add. Anyway, all we had to show for it was a headache and a case of...well...never mind. the point is, we're not fans of the power of the stars.

That being said, we must admit that our only explanation for this is some sort of aligning of the planets, or balancing for the Force, or Karma payback.
A bankruptcy judge gave his final stamp of approval to the long-pending sale of a portion of the former Hinsdale Greyhound Park to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. for $2.13 million, paving the way for the retailer to build a Walmart superstore on the site.
Holy crap, you're thinking, that is truly ironicus at its maximus and you wouldn't be far wrong, but we'd also like to point out the practical aspects of this little business arrangement: now the overlords don't have to learn a new route to work. God's in his heaven and all's right with the world!

Except in Massachusetts.

When last we left the good people of the bay state the local legislative body was engaged in a lively discussion as to whether the majority of the people who voted to send the overlords into the labor pool really meant it, or, as the overlords argued, the whole thing was just a big misunderstanding ha ha isn't that cute that most people think exploiting innocent animals isn't an acceptable way to make a living but we're sure you didn't really mean it now can you please go away and let us get back to earning our trailer payments. Well, let the dogs get back to earning our trailer payments.

Let's see what hilarity is ensuing this week:
During a spirited joint hearing, debate centered around a bill filed by state Rep. David Flynn, D-Bridgewater, to allow state racetracks to continue to take wagers on simulcast races after a voter-approved ban on live dog racing goes into effect Jan. 1, and a bill state Sen. Marc Pacheco, D-Taunton, filed to delay the racing ban for two years.State Rep. James Fagan, D-Taunton, said he hopes “people are more receptive to the needs of people and jobs” than they are to animals.
Right. So when 56% of the people of Massachusetts voted to end greyhound racing, after months of being told by the overlords that it would mean the state would go bankrupt and thousands would be left to wander the streets picking through the remains of civilization, it was like they hadn't been listening or something? You figure if you just explain it one more time they'll be all like, "Oh. What were we thinking? Let's get those dogs back out on that track." Is that it mister elected by a majority of the voters sir?
Flynn said Raynham-Taunton Greyhound Park is a key piece of the local economy.
Well, you got us there Mr. Flynn. We mean, Raynham and Wonderland are all that's standing between the state and total insolvency. We should be awarding these people a good citizenship award for their support of the commonwealth, not shutting them down, right Mayor Ambrosio?
Owners of Wonderland Greyhound Park wired a lump sum payment of $752,301 to the city of Revere to cover two years worth of back taxes and utility bills, as well as the first two quarters of the current tax year, including interest, city officials said. The payment takes it out of foreclosure, and comes just in time for an operating license reapplication hearing with the State Racing Commission. "I would assume that that had something to do with it," Mayor Thomas G. Ambrosino said of the timing of the payment. "I'm very happy that they made the payment. It allows them to continue operating." Track owners, who have also been in the middle of revocation hearings on their liquor and parking licenses with the Revere License Commission, made the payment on the heels of a collections suit filed against them by the city at Suffolk Superior Court.
Oops. Heh heh. Well, these things happen from time to time. Paperwork you know. Checks get lost in the mail, stuff like that. Look, this is a thriving, growing business, the overlords are busy busy busy, so these things just happen, right Texas Greyhound Association Executive Director Diane Whiteley?
Gulf Greyhound Park would become the only track in Texas to offer live greyhound racing in 2010, after a decision by the Texas Racing Commission.
Hmm...seems everything's bigger in Texas, except greyhound racing, right TK?

TK loves chewing on bones. He is affectionate and is always close to his foster family. He puts his head in your lap. TK is a confident and easy going boy. He loves to play with his toys. He knows how to sit and is learning to fetch. TK would do well in a working family with well-mannered children, 7 and older. He gets along with other dogs of various sizes and cats and would probably do well by himself. For more information about this dog, and other rescued racing greyhounds looking for homes, go here. If you don't know about the plight of racing greyhounds go here.

IN OTHER NEWS: Would you like to answer Phil's question? Please use words with less than three syllables.

WCVB-TV news reported yesterday that today's live races would be the last ones held at Wonderland Greyhound Park. I am not sure if they specifically said Wonderland was closing completely, but that was certainly the impression left by the report. Not that TV news has ever been distinguished by its thoroughness and accuracy... In the meantime, today's noon news included the report that Robert deLeo, speaker of the MA House of Representatives, has changed his mind and now supports the idea of building full-scale entertainment casino resorts (a la Foxwoods)here. Previously, he wanted to limit gambling expansion to adding slot machines to the tracks. I am not sure if his district encompasses both Wonderland and Suffolk Downs (horse track), but it includes at least one track.

It's all a joke on the taxpayers and law- abiding citizens. Americans are getting screwed once again and the hogs at the top that keep the little workers there, pat them on the head and use them for their benefit .(politicians included ,if not the main players)
Of course, these "elves" have not one iota of an idea how to perform unless you give them " a treat" so they are much like the poor dogs they all are taking advantage of and giving the voters the finger in the process.
If the lawmen and women do not go after all these people who are indeed, using drugs to punch up the dogs' personalities to be even more aggressive, and by doing so, trying to make Greyhound Racing more "attractive" , they shall be included in the guilt everyone owns involved in this tortuous continuation for Greyhound abuse. Drug pushing, illegal activities , etc., all associated with Greyhound Racing not to mention all the fraud and racketeering it encourages. (example Tri-State-Florida) is something that has always come "naturally " to a blood sport with no true regulating powers.
Americans have spoken. We do not want it . Ignorance and violence shall no longer rule.

That just had to be a "tongue in cheek" with Phil. In which case, they got "punked"!
On the other hand, if this Phil is truly as dull as his question, keep your hands off of everything, alive, Phil. (Although you may poke needles into any Greyhound Racetrack veterinarian you possible wish. They are as dead as they can get.)

These "Irish" are incredible, aren't they? The true blue bloods have always been known as the most advanced in education and there are many proofs of this but it would be lost on the crowd I want to reach.
Such as it is with "David Flynn ,Democrat of Bridgewater."(once involved in "education"?)
I know it's always nice to hold the hand of Maura Carney , Mr. Flynn, and particularly at a "bar" but really, show just a little "culture" shall we?
It's a "dogtrack" sir, not an emergency ward for a "hit and run".
The Greyhounds, Mr. Flynn? Shall we speak of the cocaine usage and the steroid usage and the endless lines of Veterinarians like Dr. Dunn who cannot wait to shove a needle into the dog's leg to send it into cardiac arrest when it breaks a hock or limb or spine or neck?(that is, the "lucky ones" that don't get clubbed to death or eaten by other dogs)
Oh wait. We are not even thinking about these facts, are we? We want the MONEY, HONEY.
Well, you can't say we did not warn you.
Hopefully, more information and documentation will arrive before the end of the month.
And please, show some real "upbringing". Get off the barstool and go home and look at pictures of Alabama 3,000 or perhaps read Jack Swint's :
" THE KILLING FIELDS OF CHAPMANVILLE ,WEST VIRGINIA."
Maybe you are just a "slow-reader". We can always "hope".

Diane Whitely is one more liar in the racing industry that needs her own tail amputated like so many eyeballs out and electrocutions and broken legs and backs that go on in racing Greyhounds' short and horrible lives. But hey! Who's counting, right Diane? You sure are not. You like to blame the courses or the tracks or just about anything but the racetrack people, like yourself, by the way. The fact is, you have no concern at all.
Diane Whitely, I guess after Marena Riggins, we are going to have to go after you. (you know, that ol' gal from Kansas with all the live bait that was documented in "THE KILLING FIELDS OF CHAPMANVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA"? (Jack Swint) You better keep a looky loo at Swint's stories...he's gonna have a real blockbuster about the racetrack vets soon...and what are ya gonna say then, Diane Whitley? Ain't your problem? Gonna mess up your "credibility" is what that is gonna do.
Such a pity. But then again. You just beg for it don't you?
The Greyhound would always have existed and so much better without all their cancers and broken bodies and being used for laboratory research. And you and everyone in the Racetrack "business" knows this; you are all in it for the financial aspect of it.
Since you're up at IRONICUS MAXIMUS this weekend,(September 18) what is your education, if any? (or did you, too, just start out cleaning those 18 hour cages?) So classy and so "thinkin' " .
Finally, how many drowned puppies do you know of and did you try and stop them or just help? You are a "team player"?
Y'all are welcome to come and talk to us, you know. We are here and have been for years waiting for y'all to change your ways. Looks like you Texans just get greedier and greedier.
But we kind of got " a hold " on that.
You keep watchin' now.
We ain't never a bore over here. But the difference is, we don't use steroids or anything else. We use our minds.

But chicks? Are you serious?

Sen. Marc Pachego can keep all his BS about Ted Kennedy and all the grief and respect he supposedly had for him. He, like Mike Green, (the other "democrat" from WV) are full of it when it comes to dogs.
Marc Pachego, do you really think Ted Kennedy, with his great love for dogs and the environment, would look kindly upon you when you are indirectly, dumping on his own Water Portuguese canines? A Dog is a Dog, Marc Parchego, and if a Democratic Senator cannot understand that, what can you possibly understand?
It has to do with "devotion" , Stupid.

Well, James Fagan, my family came from Ireland, too, and we have always been a family with animals and grew up respecting them and including them in our household. Where are your family strings, James Fagan? Only in your pockets? You must have come up extremely poor to have such desperate attitudes .
An animal , particularly a dog and in this case, a Greyhound, could be used for therapy for a handicapped vet. Or are you, too, merely thinking of what you might gain by pushing this?
As for your idea of "knee jerk legislation", you tell that to a rape victim which we are all quite sure you are not!
As a matter of fact, whose side are you really on?
You are just one more lawyer who makes me sick.

Diane Whiteley and Marena Riggins have everything in common .
We should put it all down on this blog.

Well, I think Diane is smart enough to pay all her taxes.
Marena? She's not dumb but the way she carries on racing everywhere and hitting on people, she is incredibly grabby.
She makes a LOT of money.

So DUMB and so "control freak". Scary!

I am Diane Whiteley (please spell my name right) and I do not respond anonymously. I read Friday Hound Blogging on a regular basis. Sometimes you have it right, sometimes not, but it is always provocative. I live with my 4 athletes Peanut, Amber, Millie and Angie. Peanut never went to the track as she was too little. Angie hurt herself as a baby playing with her littermates, so she moved in, too. Amber and Millie are mother-daughter, both had racing careers and now occupy my couch.

There is some good in this industry and some bad. I work hard to help the good and eliminate the bad. I am open for a civil discussion on greyhound racing.

Anonymous said...

I am normally a lurker here but Diane, what on earth is "good" about Greyhound Racetracks when half the country has already abolished it and banned it? They have outlawed this for a reason, Diane.
If you look at many people's ideas from "the South" they do not like the Humane Society. Why on earth would they not want to "protect animals" because supposedly, your business wants to keep the dogs "healthy"?
On the other hand, how can you possibly keep them "healthy" when the tracks, as you have already stated, are "dangerous"? It is totally unethical to be racing dogs not only in the heat, but with drugs to make them go even faster, not to mention on hairpin turns.( you already know how many injuries have been reported and Dorchak and Grey2k have done enormous work for the Greyhound, Diane, to save them from further "exploitation" not to mention suffering with broken backs and legs. (Birthday Toy and Jawa Spock immediately come to mind)
As for anonymous, you'll have to blame John Parker for part of that. He has intimidated a lot of people on the Greyhound Lists and by the way, we still want to know "why"?

Anonymous said...

The number six you are looking for, could be Dale Childs. Not a common name. I thought it was a guy!

Anonymous said...

I don't know about everybody else but if you keep looking and looking at all these "players" in the Greyound "industry", seems to me that the women really are making a name for themselves. It's almost like the men have tossed a lot of the "responsibility" onto the women because either they "handle" it better, or the women are more able to "camouflage" with "communications". Whatever the result is, they certainly make an extra attempt to smooth over the indecency of animal abuse.
Diane Whiteley,(and I am glad to see you concerned with "your spelling" because maybe you might be a little more sensitive to the deaths of Greyhounds that have an average life-span of three years of age ) you sound exactly the same as another woman who was saying that there was "good and bad" in everything. (I believe her name was Emily Taylor.)
It's fine for recipes; it's fine for classrooms; it's even terrific for probably half of life. But when you take an animal's well-being, and you put it into danger, and 100% danger may I add, there is nothing "good" about it whatsoever.
Let's make it simple, shall we?
What is the "good" with Jawa Spock and Birthday Toy and the more than 3,000 clubbed, shot and dumped Greyhounds in Alabama?
Furthermore, what are your "good and bads" about live-baiting and making dogs starved and frenzied to fill your pockets?(not to mention defibrillating them back to "life")
Finally, this is not to be rude, heaven forbid, but if all the people who clean the perpetual cages and feed the dogs 4D meat can re-educate themselves, why can't you?
It is "good" that you are here as so many have left the Greyhound Lists due to bashings from supposed "neutrals". We, on this List do have a common agenda, and that is to make sure Greyhound Racing becomes something of the very poor and very violent past of America.
We invite you to debate with us. We believe in helping these dogs move onto their freedom like all other dogs in the World. And there is nothing "bad" in that. Particularly when humans are able to "re-educate" themselves.

Anonymous said...

If Ironicus Maxmus is "always provocative", perhaps you might understand the hell the dogs go through, Diane.
Otherwise, it is not "provocative" at all.
We do not put the dogs through anything.
The Racing Industry does.

Anonymous said...

Sally Briggs is another.
If Hurricane Ike or ANY hurricane hits any of these coastal places, who is going to be able to move hundreds of these dogs out without peril?
The whole idea is insanity.
Jailing dogs to make a dollar when only a couple make it on someone's couch! The ridiculousness of the argument stands alone.
The accumulation of millions of these Greyhound bodies over decades makes one speechless.

Anonymous said...

If a hurricane strikes, the very last thing anyone in the racing business thinks about is the Greyhounds trapped in their cages. There are more than a thousand breeders in USA alone, to replace " the units", and even Ron Hevener says he gets about "ten" to a bitch.
How refreshing.
(He's "an artist"...didn't you know?)

Anonymous said...

Diane Whiteley is still stunned after reading ;" THE KILLING FIELDS OF CHAPMANVILLE, WEST VIRGINIA". (Did you not know of that?)
Let it sink deep into the Texas executive who truly believes "there is some good in this industry and some bad".
Two things that pop up right away about you Diane. The "athletes" are dogs first. You may like to think they are gold medalists but most end up dead because of injuries that occur because you and people like you, put them through the dog tracks so that you can be an "executive". (All the athletes you try and pretend to respect have Rolls Royces, Diane. And you may also be trying for one as well.)
Next thing that pops up is the word "industry". Like I said, a dog is a dog, it is not a bottle cap although breeders mercilessly force these poor bitches to have hundreds of puppies until they also, drop dead or have not been taken care of, and I have seen at least a dozen females just dumped at a rescue with absolutely no heart and respect for what that dog has gone through or what that bitch has sacrificed so all of you can be an executive. (While I am thinking of it, how many kids do you have and did you like to get pregnant, non-stop if you even have one?)
So, let's have this civil conversation you are so generously speaking about. But let's remember one important item: you are being paid for this and none of us are. We do it for love, Diane. Not for "the industry "or "the athlete".

Diane said...

My error. I thought this was a discussion section, when it is just anonymous bashing and personal attacks from people I don't know and don't know me. I apologize for intruding in your forum.

Anonymous said...

We always welcome a debate on Ironicus Maximus which is far more than any Greyhound List I have ever been on. We were never "allowed" an opinion, Diane, so don't bother getting all "hottie" on us or haughty, whatever way you want to spell it, ...take your pick. We are free here and always will be, to speak our minds and delve into a better way to make ourselves more serving to the Greyhounds' needs. We didn't put them into hell. You did.
Your ego, as all of the racing "industry's egos, have long absorbed the Greyhounds' lives and we don't put up with any nonsense about that. That is our only rule here which is enormously different from "no talking" and email threats from some of the "neutrals". We do not cherish "pinheads" here.
The wonderful thing is that just one visit here with us, you have probably learned far more from Ironicus Maximus than you will have ever learned in the pits of Greyhound Racing. Use it well. Those Greyhounds have given their lives to you; literally.

Anonymous said...

Dear Diane:
If you had been seriously concerned for "the athletes", you would have not checked in at 10 a.m. after months of 'lurking" yourself (or even years). You would have openly started a discussion about how to pull out of the races, gradually, and we understand that. But the fact you suddenly jumped into the ring when it got a little hot under your collar because your name got lifted, and you wanted to stop "damage control" that is something an "executive" might do to preserve her name. And it certainly was not for the Greyhounds' benefit. It was for yours
Also, another check point to consider, you pulled back in around 8 p.m. I mean, truthfully, in your good old Texas right hand, uplifted on the Bible, how concerned can you really be? Were you out shopping or just back at the races?.

Anonymous said...

Reading about Diane's "Peanut" that was too "tiny" to race, well let's give her some credit, everybody. She could have put the damn thing in the sack as live-bait on the whirligig. Come on!
Now then , there's "Angie" who hurt herself with her "littermates. Is that like" baby littermates"? Like rolling on the floor littermates? Or the kind of "littermates" that are starting to train and
ferociously, for the sack and a meal once a week? Well sure! They're gonna tear each other apart for a meal, for heaven's sake. You can't blame them for that! It's commendable that Diane got Angie out of there and decided to feed that cute girl after all.
So what you really "adopted" from a racetrack was a Mother-Daughter routine and they were definite racers. I wonder did they have any damages at all or did you choose the ones without the vet bills?
Last question and it may be a bit of a doozer for"an executive" but are you also into the breeding of these Greyhounds? And if so, how much more do you make? I bet you are one shaker and a mover!
We are going to keep talking here, so you come on back anytime you got a problem. Some of us are nice because we have not seen half of much as the others, but we all have our opinions and share them. None of us ever could do that before on the Greyhound Lists. And that was so very wrong.

Anonymous said...

Hello Diane!
OK. If you are just back lurking you can always come in as an "anonymous" you know. We are here for ideas, and constructive conclusions for this blood sport. I am sure we would give you all until Christmas to shut down. But no later.
In the meantime, you did state what you might want to "eliminate" that was "bad" in the racing industry? Please tell us what you think is bad. Maybe we could get on the same wave length somewhere.
I hope you are still interested in the welfare of these Greyhounds. You did enter into our List saying so. We all want what is best for them. Is that not true?

Anonymous said...

This is a shame. This is the second time we have seen TK trying to find a home on Ironicus Maximus. Thank God he has found a Rescuer unlike most that are merely executed.
Honestly, how can these racing people continue to breed these poor dogs by the thousands, like all the outlawed puppy mills, then kill them when they do not perform and make a profit? This is not legal and they should all be held accountable!
Legislation must thoroughly expose that these people "invested" in this industry have real "socialization" problems and one needs only to look at Freda Tomblin to see what she produces and see what she has destroyed. Let us also not forget the huge intimidation of West Virginia which is symbolic of many involved in the Racing Industry. Unbridled power is synonymous with crime.
Everyone must get into the act. And swiftly. These people really are a pox on society.

You know what is horrible about America? The fact that we can take a live animal and just use it to death, literally, and then toss it into the trash as if it were just some old plastic milk jug ready for the heap.
Such was the case for Freedom's Flight last week, an ex-racer from the Kentucky Blue Grass Country who was a descendent of Secretariat, found tied to a palm tree in Northwest Dade- Miami. Skinny and barely alive, a Rescuer discovered the tattoo on its upper lip and the rest is , "happily" history. It was ready to be carved up into horse meat. What a typical ending for something so desired when shiny then dumped after the glow is gone.
If the Greyhound "Industry" sees no parellel in this story than there is not much else to say to any of them. They are all merely cold, heartless and cunning beasts who deserve nothing less than jail-time. And certainly, nothing to be proud of in America.

Today, 9/21, there is a meeting at Suffolk Downs (horse track just outside Boston) about the possibilities for casinos in MA. Dick Dalton, Wonderland CEO, is front and center on the TV news, hoping for slot machines there. Suffolk Downs wants to have an entertainment casino, and the owners of Mohegan Sun in CT want to build one in central MA. Also at the meeting are reps from the state's gambling addiction treatment program, looking rather dejected. The governor, and the heads of both houses of the legislature are now on board with casinos - it seems to be a foregone conclusion that they are happening, but there will still be wheeling and dealing over how many and where. Stupid from a social-costs standpoint, but a good thing for animal welfare.

Diane "Whiteley" is the "image" the Greyhound Tracks like to offer.
You know: "classy"; "upright"; "charitable"; "well-mannered"; "Christian".
However, if we just kind of yank the one sentence that gives this "beauty" away, it is her statement:
"I work hard to help the good and eliminate the bad".
Oh, she's "good", alright. It is no wonder she is "an executive". She chooses her words as carefully as she can. She picks the "proper" way to speak. "Intrude" is so "thoughtful". And how about "provocative"? Makes her look "philosophical".
Diane Whiteley, is in fact, no better than all the Martin Ropers, Chris Carpenters, Stan Pawloskis, Marena Riggins and yes, even good old, bee-hive Mama, Freda Tomblin.
Personally, I think Diane "Whiteley" deserves an Oscar. At the very least, she definitely deserves " a part".
(Hollywood, get a B actress. Out of a high school play is ok, too.)

Anonymous said...

Seriously, Diane Whiteley sounded so much better than Martin Roper! However, when she closed off with her "final goodbye", they are all, sadly, the same.
None of them really cares what happens to those Greyhounds. They would have stopped racetracks a long time ago as many others have, if they really did.

I am from Florida and I have been told about this blog as I am presently looking for a Greyhound to adopt and I had NO idea the violence involved with Greyhound Racing!
I am already disgusted with the people that run these "shows" to cause such pain and suffering.
Florida, BAN this horrendous "entertainment" at purely the Greyhounds' expense!
I will follow this blog and hope for results.

Anonymous said...

The person who wrote about looking for a Greyhound to adopt, let me tell you something. I was there a couple of years ago. Incredibly, after searching around, I saw how many people were depressed working at so many of these rescues. Oh sure, they put a good face on it and do their utter best to get a Greyhound into the right family, but as I spoke with so many, there were tales of the most extreme situations possible. I was also "asked" not to repeat these stories in no threatening way whatsoever, more of a request , as all of these rescuers spoke of "retribution" from the racetracks if any of these stories were relayed, publicly. (probably not get as many rescues and make them really depressed that the rescuers would be blamed for the deaths of these losing dogs, not the tracks) So, anyone who is reading this, think the absolute worst about what happens on the tracks, around the tracks and after the tracks, and multiply it by a thousand. You are then, about a mile away from the actual gore.
These people have absolutely NO morals and they like it that way.

Well , that sounds about right. Use the people WITH a conscience, like Ironicus Maximus and the thousands of Rescuers, and tell them that after THEY, the racetracks, have made a FORTUNE with these dogs racing, they DUMP them onto the "caretakers" and these rescuers or "caretakers" spend THEIR money trying to rehabilitate the dogs that the racetracks BROKE and try and raise money to PAY for all the surgeries, and drugs, and care, etc., etc....can you believe criminals without heart and soul like this toss these dogs? And they EXPECT you to pay for them and if you don't, well hey! Not THEIR problem. They would have preferred to shoot them anyway but we are the snivellers and weepers so , SUCK IT UP!
Boy...I want all these worthless people like the "TOMBLIN THUGS" in jail.
We are looking to give you all hell on earth....through imprisonment. Mike Vick got off easy. We will do our best to keep you in jail.

I have just seen Mickey O'Rourke 's name for Joe Manchin or Alec Baldwin on Swint's last story. The person said that both these guys are animal lovers so who knows what on earth they'd feel about playing a really rotten guy, however, the only way to end this horrible "sport" is by getting the information out rapidly and only the media can do that. The power and the magnitude of this racing is world-wide...and that is precisely why we need Hollywood to hit them over the head with a top-notch cast and script.
The movie has been "created". We have all the very high calibre figures. The Politicians. The Senators. The Corruption. The Crooks. The Ruthless. The devoted Volunteers all against the Power and Greed of the MOB.
Yeah. This is a Blockbuster, alright. We can do it. And I swear, it will finally end the torture of these Hounds just by the movie's educating the public of all the Greyhound's suffering and devastation.
Hollywood..... You know it has what it takes. We have everything happening to make this work. It is truly a remarkable journey and how millions of us have helped put this together for you to make a perfect film that you can tell all your Grandchildren about. This is one movie in a lifetime. And what a beautiful cause! This is something everyone can be so proud of because no matter what, we gave it all we had. And for that reason alone, it will be very , very successful. No matter what.
