Turns out we were wrong.
A new group called Protection of Working Animals and Handlers Inc. has sent a letter to 1,600 people, seeking funds so it can mount a campaign to “reverse or invalidate” the November ballot question. "Fifty six percent of the people in this state voted to end greyhound racing," The president of this group’s board of directors, Linda A. Jensen said. "It's obviously a simple case of the tyranny of the majority."
Jensen said the group plans to lobby the Legislature, file an election fraud suit and sue for “defamation of character.” And if those approaches prove futile Jensen says she will lock herself in her room and not come out at all, not even for supper.
Yeah. Pesky democratic process. What were the forefathers thinking anyway Sassy?
Sassy is friendly, loving, smart and outgoing. She is playful, but calms easily when play time is over. She is affectionate and she will curl up next to you on the floor for pets. She loves to play with toys. She is highly food motivated and learns quickly for treats. She barks at the dogs she sees on TV. She is a Second Chance at Life Dog from the Coldwater Prison Program. Sassy would do well in a working family home with well-mannered children, 10 and up. She is good with other dogs and would probably be fine as an only dog. It's so indicative of the idiots who disbelieve and claim an offense against "god" be it stem cell research, contraceptives or apes. (let's not even talk about abolishment of slavery!)
As many have stated, these ill-educated fools take their "lessons" from more ill-educated fools and what you get is exactly the same, after hundreds of years. Dumb, dumber and dumbest.

There is such a demand for the noses of dogs that not only do we see, even with today's international news, specific training for canines to sniff out ovarian, lung, breast cancers, but also diabetes that when low class and ignorant, greedy humans target Greyhounds for their own wretched lifestyles instead of the good of humanity and society, these individuals should be locked away where no further harm can touch dog nor man. The damning evidence of conditions, torture and deaths amongst Greyhounds, is more than obvious with all the documentation, but particularly with Obama and his urging for science, if these "people" truly cared for the benefit of mankind, they would put these "beloved" dogs to great and innovative use. Smoking alone, among the poor they employ, must have caused thousands if not millions of deaths. Time to call a spade a spade and quickly turn Greyhounds into the gift they truly are; for every soul on earth.
