If The Founding Fathers Were Alive, They'd Take Away The Keys

A few days ago we mentioned that we had stopped hording food and firewood as it seemed the four horsemen of the Apocalypse were still a week or two away and might take a side tip to visit Famine's sick aunt.

Then we met this lady.

OK, not so bad, we think. Come on, there's 300 million people in this country. Some of them were bound to have been dropped on their heads as children. Then we were introduced to a member of the United States Congress elected by a majority of voters in her district to serve in the same institution that had once seen the likes of Henry Clay, James Madison, Andrew Jackson, John Quincy Adams, and heard the speeches of people like Daniel Webster, Stephen Douglas and Abraham Lincoln.

And speaking of speeches:

If you need us, we'll be down in the basement whimpering.

Poor Tracy. Did no-one tell her that even the troops in Iraq had not been given appropriate equipment? (boots too small, no night goggles. no bullet -proof vests, etc, etc, etc, )...I think that is pretty unchristian of a Republican party who boasts "puritanism, God's will, etc) particularly when they are the ones who professed weapons of mass destruction which were never there.. (And more than 3,000 dead and hundreds of handicapped later, they still do not provide aid in their "rehabilitations and care ) Heavens! How unchristian is that?
Cheaters, liars, gluttons and cons all in the form of Bush_Cheney and now even Michelle Bachman wants into the games. As Bill Maher says, it is a definite toss-up who is more dumb, Palin or Michelle but both deserve the title of Beavis and Butt-Head. Sadly, they both have taken women back in time.
Michelle with her pin-stripe suits and all her "penis envy" still can not outdress Palin with her clothes bill of $150,000. And in today's economy, with people losing their homes, and jobs and health care, how "christian" is all that?
One can only "pray" that Obama, with his quiet strength and dignity and oh so silent will, can finally, actually help all these people, systematically destroyed and made impotent, by imbeciles from another world .
May God help us.

Thrilled that Bachman is finally getting dumped by the RNC.
That idiot's career span has now tumbled into the tombs of McCain-Palin, forever signed, sealed and delivered.
Good riddance!
