Hounds Home For The Holiday

Well, here we are on the eve of that day that is approximately four months before the birth of the little baby Jesus to a virgin mother and a confused father. Little known biblical fact: Joseph always wondered why Jesus looked like the mailman, but he never confronted Mary about it because she told him there were angels hiding in the walls with fiery swords who would leap out to defend her honor. Turned out it was just rats though.

And what better way to celebrate this glorious season of peace and love than to take the family out to the dog park to see the units exploited?

The Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track will be closed Thursday and will reopen with a special live racing program on Christmas Day at 6:30 p.m. "Yeah. When all you get for christmas is one of those pine tree car fresheners and a lotto ticket, it's not like your social schedule is overly full," said one track worker who asked not to be named due to outstanding warrants.

Ah, tradition. And speaking of tradition, alert readers of this blog will have long since given up expecting anything sensible to issue forth from these pages...er...we mean will have noticed that we are bringing you another edition of Hound Home For The Holidays in which we endeavor to place a needy needle nose on a couch.

This year it seems with tracks closing faster than overlords run from a job fair there are more eligible pooches out there than ever, so if you've got a soft spot in your heart, or in your living room, we've got just the friendly package of fur and bones to full it up. Right Jaden?

Jaden is very curious and likes to explore his surroundings. He found another dog in the mirror and growled at him but is fine with the other greys in the home. He likes to be around everyone whether sitting or following around the house. He is quiet and calm and is starting to be more playful. He is trying to sneak up on the couch and is learning “NO”. Jaden would do well in a working family home with well-mannered children, 10 and up. He is good with other dogs and would probably be fine as an only dog. For more information about this dog, and other rescued racing greyhounds looking for homes, go here. If you don't know about the plight of racing greyhounds go here.

Well, we are all extremely aware of NAPLES-FT.MEYERS GREYHOUND RACING TRACK.
That's the one with one of their dogs DEAD from either a broken spine or electrocution or just plain whacked from the violence of the TRACK.
You know, CHRISTINE DORCHAK and GREY2K has already documented a ton of these DEAD GREYHOUNDS and how all the TRACKS try and COVER UP the number of GREYHOUNDS DESTROYED. (Isn't tat the real truth , MARTIN ROPER? NORTH CAROLINA?)
No matter to them. Right? They still advertise that kids, age 12, can get in either FREE or HALF PRICE, depending on if they pay the VET that month.
The DOGS?
PFST!

I heard that DAYTONA RACETRACK was the absolute WORST in TRAGEDIES.
Due to their racetrack being very OLD, and DANGEROUS, and turning on a HAIRPIN, this is absolute DESTRUCTION for any GREYHOUND that tries to win , steamed by the training of THE WHIRLIGIG.
You know, there comes a day when people are going to pay for all their cruelty and all their lawlessness regarding their abuse and intentional maiming of animals for sheer profit and "thrill".
Vick may have "recovered" after his jail time, but if you have no talent to begin with and just sadism to fuel, there is a place in a cell for that.
And we count the animals dead. And the length of time you "enjoyed" it.

Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound Racetrack?
I can't imagine taking a date there, let alone a child or even a Grandmother and for Christmas Brunch or Dinner?
What does it take to hide the pain and the torture of the Greyhound Industry? Apparently, for people like Pizzi, Carney, Whiteley and Riggins, not a whole lot.
This is to say, to be very clear, particularly for all the Dunces continuing to support this crooked and exploitive cruel activity, you are more than heartless and sadistic. You are all quite criminal in your full knowledge. And now, we have proof.

Criminals?
Criminals like in illicit drugs?
Criminals like in the senseless slaughtering of puppies becaUSE they are too slow, or handicapped or just not worth feeding, particularly when people like MARENA RIGGINS, RON HEVENER, MIKE GREEN, run PUPPY MILLS?
How about VINCE BERLAND?
Well, how about TOMBLIN KENNELS?
Oh yeah.
TOMBLIN KENNELS and THE KILLING FIELDS OF CHAPMANVILLE , WEST VIRGINIA is right up there.
You all check JACK SWINT'S last Blog.
It's a Doozer.
P.S .
And EARL RAY, don't forget to say hi to "SAWED OFF SHOTGUN".
We're still hoping for Dustin Hoffman to play him.
RIFLES, DEAD GREYHOUNDS, and ALL.

"Violence".
Violence means a lot of different things to different people.
"Violence" can mean emotional and physical abuse. "Violence" can mean so enraged that one maims, mutilates and eventually will escalate into killing.
"Violence" is the utter raping of morals and good deeds set out originally to make society "better".
So, when you talk about the "Violence" in the Greyhound Racing Industry , let's be frank and fierce.
Greyhounds are clubbed to death, shot to death, executed through any way that's cheap and not necessarily fast. After all, we are dealing with a "special load" of followers who adhere to nothing but what comes "naturally" to them.
So, when these " forgotten dogs" get drowned, or tortured medically or dismembered for a lark, it should come as no surprise that we are now hearing of their transportation purposes in carrying spark plugs up their asses. That, in itself, speaks volumes who deal in this "trade".
Bombs, Terrorism, Mafia, Al Qaida, all are linked to things that are international, such as "GLOBAL". It just doesn't have to be Guns, or Ammunitions or even Drugs.
What better place to hide Arms than in a "living sport" which pretends to rehabilitate trashed canines, for adoptions and even PTS Veterans. And all, of course, in the name of God.
There will be many lawsuits and international courts to prosecute these black market criminals. And there will be very few found "innocent".
Finally, it will no longer pay, at all, to "Play God".
